Just had to share this funny moment from the Guymon household:
The other night we were eating dinner and Grace was adamantly begging for something. Usually I am pretty good at figuring out what she's saying, but occasionally I draw a blank. This was one of those times! She's a pretty determined little kid, so she just kept saying it over and over. What she was saying was very familiar, I'd heard it several times already that day, and in my head I kept thinking "I should know this one!" But my brain wasn't comprehending the toddler babble at the moment, so finally I just said "Sorry Grace, I don't understand what you are trying to say."
Suddenly Joshua pipes up, "Mom, she says she wants to listen to the 'Signing Time with Alex and Leah' song!" in this voice that totally said "DUH, Mom!
It's a good thing we have an interpreter!
